Individual Therapy

Individual therapy with me is a space to slow down, breathe, and listen inward. My approach is grounded in the understanding that symptoms—such as anxiety, exhaustion, overthinking, or emotional numbness—often began as adaptive strategies that helped you survive. In therapy, rather than trying to “fix” these parts of you, I support you in meeting them with curiosity and compassion, uncovering the deeper needs, stories, and emotions they protect. Sessions unfold at a pace guided by the body, our therapeutic relationship, and your own readiness to explore.

In my work with adults, I integrate trauma-informed, relational, and depth-oriented modalities, including IFS, psychodynamic therapy, and somatic awareness. You can expect a collaborative process that may include reflection, imagery, noticing what’s happening in the body, or simply creating space for stillness. Therapy with me is not about finding quick answers—it’s about strengthening your ability to know yourself from the inside out, reconnecting with what feels authentic, and rediscovering the parts of you that may have long been silenced or overlooked.

Trauma-focused therapy is for those navigating the complex impact of overwhelming or prolonged experiences—whether rooted in childhood, relationships, identity, or adversity across the lifespan. I specialize in working with both acute and complex trauma, drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic psychotherapy, and somatic awareness. My work is grounded in honoring the protective strategies your mind and body developed in the face of fear, pain, or disconnection, while gently supporting a different kind of relationship with those parts of yourself.

This is slow, relational work that centers safety, pacing, and presence. I approach trauma therapy as a guide rather than an instructor—someone who walks alongside you as you explore the terrain within. Together, we’ll learn to attune to your internal world, recognize patterns that once kept you safe but now keep you stuck, and cultivate the capacity to “stay with” emotions that previously felt too overwhelming. Over time, this creates more ease, clarity, and internal spaciousness—making room for a life shaped not by trauma, but by choice.

Identity

Many people seek therapy not because something is “wrong,” but because something no longer feels aligned. I work with adults navigating transitions in identity, sexuality, relationships, career, and meaning—whether you’re questioning long-held roles, exploring polyamory or nontraditional paths, or sensing that the life you’ve built doesn’t fully reflect who you’re becoming. This work can be both tender and liberating, inviting parts of you that have been hidden, constrained, or misunderstood to come forward.

My approach is relational, reflective, and rooted in curiosity. Through gentle exploration, I help you understand the internal and external forces that have shaped who you are—and who you’re allowed to be. Therapy may include examining relational patterns, exploring different “parts” of yourself, tuning into your body’s cues, and building a more grounded sense of agency. The goal is not to push you toward a specific outcome, but to support your capacity to listen inward and make choices that feel authentic, connected, and true to the person you’re becoming.

I provide ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and integration support for clients engaging with psychedelic experiences—whether through therapeutic contexts, research, legal frameworks, or personal exploration. With formal training from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research, I approach this work with nuance, groundedness, and respect for the profound complexity of non-ordinary states.

Psychedelic therapy offers unique potential for transformation, healing, and deep personal insight and can widen the lens through which we relate to ourselves and the world. Integration sessions focus on helping you understand and process the emotions and revelations that emerge during these experiences, supporting you in translating those insights into lasting change in your everyday life.

How to pay for therapy

Therapy is an investment in your well-being, and I try to make the financial side feel as clear and supportive as possible. My fee is $245 for a 50-minute session. I do not accept insurance directly, but I’m able to provide a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Each plan is different, so I encourage you to reach out to your provider to learn more about your specific benefits.

If you have any questions about payment, reimbursement, or how the process works, I’m here to help you navigate it.
